Can my central air unit be turned into a heater also? And how much? - cape cod style house
I have a nice house in Cape Cod with no basement. Only two floors with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. I have an A / C unit installed 2 years ago and wants to change the heat. At the moment I have to use a summer / winter, my relationship with hot water and heat and oil. I am also on my hot water demand electric water heater. Ultimately, getting rid of oil completely.
Suggestions, approximate prices, etc.? Thanks

likely to do something practical that would change the CA system with a heat pump to ... in which contributions could be the copper lines, but they need to change the external hard drive to ... where appropriate for the indoor unit to change according to his manager stored symbol of a heat pump air or not ... at least one package installed electric heaters in the air controller and 240-volt cable to make it shorter .. also thread TSTAT TSTAT and outdoor units may be necessary if you are not enough lines - small son] in it for the heat pump to replace it .. Lines must be well with the exception of his criticism of a heat pump that is well isolated lines and no air is drawn to the absolute space as a loft or cavity may gaps or channels disorderly adjustment .. . i wouldnt be too quick to get rid of oil ... You can pump as a backup if his save very cold, if you do not really need the space Radiate, reservoirs, and the boiler is working now .... As for prices .. Move to the heat pump would be about $ 3500 - $ 5500 depending on whether the air traffic controller, which had to be replaced, that DoeTNS include the elimination of all components of the existing heating oil ........
A heat pump provides both AC and heat. In general, work best in a temperate climate, as have the desert states. If you are thinking of getting rid of oil, fuel oil, then it is a good alternative, because the whole system needs to change.
